My journey with Jawahar Vidyalaya spans over four enriching decades—a journey that has seen me serve in various capacities and grow with the institution I hold so dear. Each chapter has been fulfilling, and I consider it a blessing that my association with JV continues to this day, allowing me to contribute in my own way to its enduring legacy.
What continues to inspire me is the deep, almost intangible bond that exists within the JV family—a bond rooted in mutual respect, care, and a shared commitment between the Management and the staff, which naturally reflects in the way our students are nurtured by their teachers. It is this spirit of togetherness and belonging that makes JV truly a home away from home. And it is this very spirit that has enabled us to make the learning experience not only effective but also joyful and meaningful.
For over five decades, Jawahar Vidyalaya has stood as a beacon of quality education, consistently focusing on the holistic development of every student. Our unwavering commitment to societal progress has earned JV a place of distinction among Chennai’s leading educational institutions.
I have had the unique privilege of working closely with several generations of students. Watching them evolve into accomplished individuals across the globe has been a deeply rewarding experience—one that words alone cannot describe. Among those memories, I take immense pride in having been the English teacher and class teacher of Mr. Sundar Pichai, the globally respected CEO of Google. Even then, he stood out—calm, unassuming, focused on Math and Science, and humble in demeanor. His journey is a shining example of how grit, vision, and humility can lead to greatness. At JV, we celebrate the achievements of every Jawaharite with pride and affection.
